Pet care experience

I grew up creating my first dog walking business at the age of 14, putting up fliers around town. We had a golden retriever in our home for most of my life, along with living part time on a farm with my grandparents where we cared for an assortment of animals, including three mini doberman pinschers. When I left for college I began volunteering at my local animal shelter, spending valuable time with both dogs and cats. After about a week, I adopted a the perfect cat named Lucy. I continued to use the shelter as an outlet to still spend time with the pups. I am currently a graduate student getting my Masters of Social Work. My love for animals has not diminished, and have decided to try and fill my schedule with as much animal love as possible, hence what brought me here! Due to being off for the summer, I have LOTS of availability - so let me know what you need and I am optimistic we can work something out.

First off, I'm not sure that I can even adhere to the demands required. There is nothing brief about Madison's love for animals, especially dogs. She's been around all sorts of animals her whole life, as her grandmother lived on a farm. It was there that not only did she become fond of them, but they of her. Sort of an animal whisperer type of girl, ya know? Deer walking up to her to be pet. Countless kittens cared for and looked out for in the absence of a mother. I'm a firm believer that animals have more senses than we as people. I believe that they can genuinely tell the difference between a human that is to be trusted and one that is not. And thus, one of Madison's greatest attributes. She can be trusted. I've seen this firsthand through trusting her with the care of my animals. I've also seen this through the sixth sense that our animal friends have. I have a guinea pig, Pumba. To put it bluntly, he's scared of the world and everything in it. When most people approach him he tends to hide in his little house. When Madison approaches him, he doesn't cower, but instead sniffs curiously and approaches to be pet, while letting out a purr of comfort and happiness. As you may or may not know, Madison has a rescue cat, Lucy. Similar to Pumba, Lucy is also afraid of just about everything. Yet, with Madison around Lucy has no problem cuddling and being social. Lucy trusts her and feels safe around her. That sixth sense comes in and she can naturally tell that Madison will take care of her. I realize I've gone on and on about animals other than dogs, even though they are the ones going to be taken care of through this lovely interface. Do I even really need dog anecdotes? I hope that you can tell that Madison truly cares for animals, and acts as a sort of protector for them. You may not have the sixth sense, but trust me when I say that your dog, cat, pig, rat, deer, buffalo, gecko, or a combo of any of the above are in good hands.
