I was born into an animal loving family and grew up with dogs and cats of all sizes. I have experience with Bully breeds 💜 I worked in a grooming salon for 3 years and became a dog trainer. Although my studies have brought me to working with humans, my love of animals has never wavered. Friends and family call on me when they need someone to care for their pets as they would (I consider myself an aunty to their fur babies). I'm not allowed to have dogs in my apartment, so I often take my family's dogs on hikes because adventures are better with a furry companion! Do you have a new puppy or new-to-your-life dog? I understand the importance of consistency with training and I'm happy to support you on this journey. Does your dog love playing with other dogs? A trip to the dog park is a joyful occasion for me as well. Does your pet have anxiety? I am patient and happy to work with your cat or dog's quirks. I have experience administering oral medication to pets, and caring for fish and small animals, including lizards and snakes. I am a full-time graduate student taking summer courses part-time. I am available for walks and sitting Wednesday-Friday, and several Saturdays/Sundays provided we plan in advance. I can stay in your home during the day or overnight. I am a morning person and enjoy a good early morning walk! Routine and consistency are important for your pet's wellness and I will care for your pets as you do. I am organized, punctual, and appreciate cleanliness. I will request veterinary contact information and emergency contact information from you, and I will be sure to know exactly where your veterinarian is located prior to my first outing with your pet. Should an emergency occur, rest assured that I will remain calm and prepared to take action. I do a tick check after any walks in the woods or tall grass.
