Hi all! I’m Madisen, 26, and recently moved to the Boston area. I have owned a number of pets of various species and have been the primary caretaker of them since I was 10 years old. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, iguanas, rats and mice, and even large fish tanks, both saltwater and freshwater. I have cared for the pets of my family, friends, and coworkers, being responsible for their medications, feedings, walks and playtime, and cleaning up after them. The ages of the animals I have cared for range from a few months old to seniors. I worked in wildlife rehab where animal needs were put before my own. I have always loved spending quality time with animals and since I only have a rabbit at the moment, I could use some extra animal loving in my life these days! I promise to always treat your pet as one of my own and spoil them with all the love while you’re away :)

Madison made my trip abroad away from my young cats for 10 days so much better because I could tell immediately upon meeting her she’d be reliable and kind to the cats. The cats were happy and well cared for and the house was secure while she was coming in and out. I’ll definitely be asking Madison for help in the future.
Madisen is great to work with and communicates very promptly. We would be happy to book again with her when we need extra help during the work week.
Madisen went the extra mile with our pup on a check-in! She played with her, brushed her, and was responsive throughout the scheduling process.

My rabbit has a cage that I use at nighttime for his safety but during the day when I am home, I open the cage to let him roam as freely as he would like. If caring for a pet in your home, I will abide by any rules that you implement for the safety of your pet as well.

With my experience in senior care, couch potato care, dog-aggressive behaviors, and separation anxiety, I can ensure you that any pet with any special conditions will be safe and comfortable in my care. Just let me know specific limitations, conditions, or requirements in advance and I can surely be prepared to accommodate.
A typical day
I am a huge advocate for letting a dog’s walk be just that: their walk! I love taking our time, stopping to smell all the roses and telephone poles they want. I will be able to accurately gauge how long your pet wants to walk and will be sure not to over exert them physically. I spend hours in my family backyard with the family dogs, playing fetch and stirring up zoomies before heading back inside. Our family dog usually gets tired before I do! If your pet is a couch potato, I could binge watch a show for many episodes just giving them all the scratches and love they want. It is really up to your pet on how we spend our time!

Availability
My schedule at the moment is extremely flexible. Since I recently moved to the area, I am currently looking for a full time job but have decided to put my exceptional pet care skills to use in the meantime. Right now I am available 7 days a week, as early as 5am and as late as 11pm!
