I’ve grown up with dogs and loved them dearly for as long as I can remember. I’ve owned and cared for all sizes! From my first childhood dog, a Shih Tzu, to my beloved Great Dane I was the primary caretaker for for the 10 years I was lucky to have with her. In 2014 I unexpectedly stumbled upon my current dog, Beau- a pit/lab mix- who I rescued from bad conditions. I raised and cared for Beau from 2014 until 2020 when I had to move to Milwaukee. As I finish my masters degree, I decided Beau would be happier staying at the family farm with his freedom and brother dogs instead of moving into a small apartment where he’d often be alone while I attend work&school. I miss him 24/7, but I make the 5.5 hour drive home every other month to visit him. Its been a major adjustment not living with Beau, or any dogs for that matter, and I’d be honored to spend time with, walk, etc. your dog in the meantime! I have experience dog sitting, walking, and caring for dogs, including my families heeler/collie mix and golden doodle. In addition, I have experience working at a doggy day care/boarding facility where I managed all types of dogs, behaviors, and pet specific instructions. Lastly, my dog Beau has a chronic health condition I managed alone for several years until moving. So I have experience accommodating for health needs, pill administration, physical therapy exercises, etc. I am a highly confident dog walker. I have experience walking reactive dogs, large dogs, multiple dogs at once, and dogs that pull. I used to frequently walk my Great Dane (155lbs), Beau (70lbs), and Beau’s brother (55lbs) at the same time-yes, I have photos to show it! I’d love the chance to spend time with your dog(s) while I am away from mine! I am mostly seeking dog walking and drop by visits (potty, play, to give attention/medications/food,etc.). But I am open to in home dog sitting as well! I look forward to meeting you dogs soon!:)
