Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs since I was about 15, house sitting for neighbors, friends and family members. in college I took care of a pit bull puppy 2 days a week and loved getting time to destress with a furry friend. I’m currently in an accelerated program and definitely missing my pets at home. I’d love to spend some time with any animals that need some extra attention while I can!

I make sure to give pets my full attention while I’m with them. I know how easy it is for them to get into something they shouldn’t and dont let then out of my site while they’re with me! When it comes to discipline in situations they may misbehave, I like to elicit the same reactions as their owner so that they dont get confused/ hopefully recognize the similar body language and learn from it.

Let me know if your animals have any special behaviors that you’re trying to correct or any specific routines they may be on so I can keep them in line and on your schedule! I also like to know any social behaviors they may have, how a dog is on a leash/ how they may react with other animals or people. For cats It’s nice to know in advance how social they are and what their boundaries are around the house.
A typical day
I love to engage with dogs and cats alike! Whether it’s a long walk, a belly rub, or some fetch I love to make a dog’s day with a play and some pets. With cat’s they may or may not want the attention but im always happy to ignite their natural instincts and keep them company.

Availability
I’m currently in an accelerated diagnostic medical sonography program so I have a pretty busy schedule during the week. However, I can work monday’s after 3pm, tuesdays/ wednesdays after 5 pm, or occasional saturdays and sundays before 12pm!
