Pet care experience
Animals have always been a part of my life, and I couldn't imagine a world without them! I've been in Idaho for the last 10 years, but was born and raised in Ohio. I've worked with many animals throughout the years, including dogs, cats, fish, exotics, and farm animals. I've received crucial animal behavior and animal care training while I worked as an Animal Care Technician and grooming apprentice at doggy day cares, grooming facilities, and animal shelters. My business has grown over the past several years, and I'm happy to say that I have provided services to over 50 families, almost all of which are now repeat clients! As Anatole France once said, "Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened." Please note, booking through Rover authorizes the caretaker to take and use photos from bookings to promote Rover, education, and additional services. Names, locations, and any identifiable information will not be in these photos or posts.
Reviews
Thank you Madi for always taking such great care of our kitty! We are lucky to have found you ❤️
I am so lucky to have found Madi! She has been an excellent caretaker for our cat Kiki. Madi has provided me piece of mind when I have to leave town knowing my kitty will be well taken care of. I highly recommend her and would not hesitate to hire her again.
Madi is very caring and responsible. Our dogs were very happy and at ease with her. We received daily reports and pictures of how thy were doing while we were gone. We would definitely use Madi again!
We love Madi, but more importantly our dogs love her too. We have had her stay at our house with the dogs a couple of times now and our house is clean when we come home, the dogs are happy, & I love getting picture and text message updates on how they are doing throughout our time away. We have two big dogs that want lots of attention! It’s nice to know she is able to give that to them while we are away.

I take special care to make sure your pets are safe! Pets are never left outdoors unsupervised, and any objects that may be harmful or unsafe are put out of reach. Pets without a fenced yard are on leash at all times. I do provide my own waste bags, collapsible bowl, and water for all walks.
Information Madi D. would like to know about your pet
I have watched dogs from all walks of life, and do not have any breed or size preferences. I appreciate when client's leave a detailed note containing their pets daily routine, behaviors, medications, and current health conditions. I also require the pets vet and emergency contact information on their Rover Profile, or provided on the detailed note. This note, along with our conversation during the meet and greet will ensure that I am fully prepared to safely watch your best friend.
A typical day
During walks, you can expect us to walk for the entire time that is scheduled. I often walk in parks, and on the greenbelt, and try to take a new route each time! If temperatures are too dangerous, we will spend the time playing indoors, or in the yard depending on weather. Drop-in visits can include walks, play time, feeding, cuddles, and administering medication. Housesitting bookings include all of the above! If any of your pets are in training, please let me know! I'd love to help work with them and keep the training going while you're away. With more time, comes more fun!

Availability
I can assure quality time and moments with your pets. For walks and drop-in visits, please allow for a flexible 30 minute window before or after your scheduled visit. While I do aim to be punctual, pet care is unpredictable and I may not be able to start at the designated time. I am always accepting new clients in Ada and Canyon County, Idaho. Please note, I am only providing care for clients in Kuna, Meridian, and Nampa currently. At this time I do not provide services in Boise, Garden City, or Caldwell.
