Pet care experience
I have had pets my entire life, including many dogs, some of who have had some medical issues and are high maintenance. I have helped care for my dogs my entire life and I have independently cared for my own dogs as well as neighbor's dogs for around fifteen years. I enjoy being around all types of dogs and taking them for walks/runs and playing with them in parks. I also understand that some older dogs need more care and less activity times and I am also willing to give them TLC in the comfort of their homes. I am 100% an animal person and would be more than happy to help care for your dog(s) or cat(s) while you are gone or as some additional help.

Madi was fantastic taking care of my dog for 3 days with drop-in visits. She was extremely communicative and sent pictures and reports daily. She was also flexible and considerate of my dog’s needs. I came back to a happy pup and would highly recommend Madi if you need someone to look after your furry friend!

When I visit your home for a drop in visit or to take a dog for a walk, I always first check the surroundings (look for any holes in fences, etc) and then ensure that I always have an eye on your pup. With walks I will stay near their home so they are familiar with the area.

He I like to know ahead of time if your dog will require any special medication, if they are nervous around new people, and how well the get along with other dogs (in case we run into other dogs while on a walk). I also love hearing about their favorite treats and favorite toys!
A typical day
I love taking the dogs on walks where they are comfortable and can enjoy the walk without being too nervous. Furthermore, while doing home visits I love plying with the dogs (especially if I know their favorite toy) and giving them lots of pets!

Availability
I have recently graduated from law school and I am currently working full time, so most of my availability will be on weekends. However, there are a few weekdays or certain holidays that I have opened on my schedule that I am also available.
