Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m Madie. I’m a veterinary technician who is looking to help take care of some furry friends outside my day job. I’m willing to take care of any type of dog or cat needed to be watched/taken care of. It’s cliche to say but I love animals. I feel as I am a reliable person when it comes to being on time or having to stay longer if needed. Any questions or concerns, just ask!

Madelynn pretty much saved our bacon this past weekend. The sitter we had previously booked had to cancel on the morning of our trip due to a family emergency. Madelynn was able to come and house sit for us with same day notice. She was able to come and meet our two dogs before we had to leave for the airport. She is a lovely young lady - and she is punctual which is very important to us. She took great care of our dogs - our younger dog is a ball of energy and Madelynn made sure she got plenty of playtime to wear her out. She took both of them on walks, made sure they were fed on schedule and loved them up. She sent us plenty of pictures and communicated with us regularly (and she responded to our texts very promptly). Madelynn helped make our weekend work and I highly recommend her. We will definitely make use of her services again.
Madie is a blessing to our little animal family! We have 2 ferrets a cat and a dog. She takes care of all of them when we go away. She’s on time and my animals just love her!!! She also makes sure they are well fed, cleaned and litter boxes are clean when we get home as well. Not to mention how very well mannered she is. We have tried several other people in the past and we will never use anyone else from here on out!! She’s a keeper. My ferrets don’t like playing with anyone and she has them doing tricks! I didn’t even know they could do that! Thank you Madie for all you do for our family!

While at a clients home I am very focused on the animals care and well being during my visits/stays. I am open to any specific requests for taking care of said animal (basic care or medical care). How ever you keep your day to day with your pets, I want to keep it as normal to them as if you had never left.

I don’t have any preference with the type or size of the dogs. I would just like to know if they are safe to be around other animals, younger children (if on walks) to make sure I can keep everyone safe.
A typical day
I can go on walks in the neighbor hoods of where I’m sitting or will look up parks, dog play areas or any where safe and okay with the owner to allow me to take the pet. I am willing to bring toys with us to make sure the dog will be having fun.

I am normally working anywhere from 32-38 hours a week Tuesday through Friday. So I am looking more for weekend work in the mean time.
