Happiness is a warm pup!

Pet care experience

Animals have been near and dear to my heart for as long as I can remember! I have cared for for many family pets (dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish) since childhood, been a trusted pet sitter for friends and family members' dogs and cats over the years, and have raised/cared for my own pups for the past 15 years. Now that I am pet-less for the first time in a long time, I hope to shower your pets with all the love and care I would give to my own!

We had, Madelyn have our golden retriever pup, Tyler of 15 months old for over night during the Easter Holidays. It was nice getting to know her since the beginning, as she wanted to gather as much as information on Tyler and his routine. How does a day look like for Tyler. Our pup is known to hardly have his meals when we are away. But this time he has had his meals completely and gave the vibe of he had a nice time with Madelyn. We also had a nice time, knowing Tyler is well taken cared. She sent us updates with photos and videos. Definitely, she has bonded with Tyler and for sure we'll meet Madelyn again for Tyler . . . . ! Thank you for the good care . . 😍

Madelyn is such a kind and caring pet lover. She has always been wonderful with my cats. I would trust her in a heartbeat with my new puppy!

Madelyn is one of the kindest and most loving people that I know. All of my pets adore her, and I am so thankful to have her help out when I am away with my pets. She is so thorough with her questions and care, and it makes me feel comfortable with her. I would definitely recommend Madelyn.

Madelyn genuinely loves her pets. She treats them very kindly and is really patient. She's had 2 dogs at the same time before and really loved them both. She ensured both dogs received regular Vet visits. I think Madelyn is an excellent, responsible and loving pet caregiver.

I will care for your pets as per your preference, and depending on their species of course! Whether that be accompanying your precious pup(s) in your fenced back yard, taking them outside for regular (leashed) potty breaks in my unfenced yard, and/or taking them on leashed walks in the neighbourhood and nearby parks. When it comes to your cool cat(s), I will care for them according to their unique personalities! If they are timid and need space, I'll always respect that and take time to build trust. If they're outgoing, playful, or cuddly, I will match that energy!

Information Madelyn W. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your pet(s) have any special needs, behavioural concerns (i.e. reactivity to people/other animals, resource guarding issues, etc.), or health issues that I should be aware of.

A typical day

As I mentioned, the way I interact with your pets will depend on their individual likes and personalities! I love getting to know them, including their favourite games, toys, activities, favourite kind of scratches/pets (behind the ears? under the chin? belly rubs?!), and any other unique little quirks they might have. I think it's important for them to have both mental and physical stimulation (of course tailored to their energy levels, needs, and abilities). I love to spend some time engaging in training exercises, taking them for sniff walks, exploring new areas, and playing games!
