I have had pets my whole life. I would have my own dogs and then find strays and keep them until a good home was found. I have been pet sitting for almost 8 years. I treat every dog as if they were mine. So yes, maybe we do spoil them a little! I have cared for blind dogs and diabetic dogs that required insulin injections. I have watched almost every type of dog from the smallest chihuahua to a family (brother and sister ) 140 pound cane corsos. When my own dog required surgery I followed the doctors orders and did intense physical therapy with him . I then became a certified Veterniary Assistant . I also volunteer at the local rescues. I have a fenced in yard with room for us to play. Safety is my number 1 priority. Whenever your pets are in my yard so am I. There are several things that make my home unique. First of all, you don't need to worry about your pet running out the door. There are two doors and they lead out to the yard, not the street. When your pet is with me, our routine will be just like when they are home. They can have breakfast, walk, nap, play, whatever you want them to do. I follow their schedule so they are comfortable. Also, since my mother and I work together, she provides constant companionship. They can relax on the couch together, sit out in the yard together or even nap together. I can walk them to the park, playground or on the beach. And although I have my own dogs , they are separated by two doors. There is no interaction between my dogs and the dogs I am watching.
