I am a young and active student with a love of all animals. I spent my entire childhood with multiple dogs, even coining the name 'nanny' for one of them. I have had five dogs in my lifetime, although only one is still living with my parents. We had one Chinese-Crested and three English Bull Terriers (one being a rescue), and currently, have a very hyperactive Flat-Coated Retriever. My current dog is a very large and high-energy dog, and as such, I have learned how to manage and reduce his energy levels. Whether a large amount of play or taking your dog for runs, I am more than capable of handling higher energy pooches. With my last dog, a rescue English Bull Terrier with quite a few medical issues, I have learned to manage dogs with some problem behavior and additional needs. I can manage food aggression in a safe manner as well as dog aggression. I can handle people aggression as my old girl also had some fear of men. I am also capable of giving oral or cream medication and caring for medical problems for dogs with injuries, allergies, conditions or simply caring for an elderly dog. I am a very active person, and try to keep in a good state of fitness. As such, I am more than happy to take your dog for any duration of a run, or longer walks if your dog is more accustomed to a slower pace. As the owner of an extremely active canine myself, I know the value of tiring these high energy dogs out and would be happy to help use up their energy levels. To ensure your dog is as safe as possible on their walks, I will focus walks around local parks and the canal, making sure they get some good grass time and are safely away from busy roads and cars. With information provided by you, I can make sure to avoid scenarios that would scare and/or make your dog uncomfortable, whether that be avoiding certain types of people and other dogs, large groups or noises, etc.
