Hi there I’m Maddie! I’m a huge animal lover! I have 5 years of veterinary assistance experience at VCA Veterinary Hospital. Where I was trained on basic animal care, nutrition, animal behavioral cues & proper animal handling. I have been animal sitting for the past 13 years, I have experience taking care of dogs in heat, pregnant dogs, dogs with puppies, dogs who need Sub-Q / oral meds & elderly dogs/ cats! About Me: I love animals & nature! Growing up I worked on a farm and did 4H, FFA, and have experience raising dogs, cats, horses, chickens, parakeets, fish, rabbits & goats. My love for animals and nature continued into my adulthood and while I worked part time at the vet hospital I got my degree in conservation biology. My hobbies include horseback riding, hiking, rock climbing and taking care of my beloved cat, Pancake! 🥞

Madelyn has worked at a vet clinic for five years. Sh gradualted from college with a biology degree and she thought at one point she wanted to be a vet. She has had many different types of animals: cats, dogs, chickens, rabbit and horses so is comfortable with them all. She is dependable, professional and loves animals and would give them terrific care.

A typical day
I love to run! If your dog is high energy I’d love to take them on runs with me. I normally run 4-6 miles on average for more high energy dogs. But if your dog prefers a slow 1-2 miles :) I can do that as well! Just let me know what type of walks your fur baby prefers!

I work full time remotely. My schedule allows flexibility to leave mid-day and have a work life balance. I’m very flexible and I’m able to take care of your animals at any time of day!
