Pet care experience
I'm Madeline, I'm 21 years old and a college student. At home, my family has an elderly dog and I have a service dog. I have loved animals since I was little and still do. When I was four or five years old, I got sprayed by a skunk because I ran after it, wanting to pet the "doggy." I have a service dog who I prefer to have with me during nighttime walks or overnight visits. If you are uncomfortable with this, that is perfectly fine, I am sure we can come to an arrangement that works for everyone! I am in online school, so my schedule is fairly flexible (message me for more details) and I have my own car so there will not be any issues with transportation. I will be going away to school starting in September, so my hours and location will be a bit different, but I will be in Kent Island during summers and holidays. Madeline did such a great job with our Great Dane for a few months! Dakota absolutely loves her and Madeline was able to help us out weekly and a few times in a pinch. Highly recommended!

I like to let the dogs out (especially if there is a fenced-in yard) and hang out with them outside, throwing the ball and running around so that they get plenty of exercise! I always keep an eye on them and am very well-versed in catching pups that break loose.

I would like to know a little bit about the pets, such as if they are housetrained, what they like to do most days, and their favorite toys to play with! Also, I would like to know if they like other animals/dogs and would like to go on walks with or play with my service dog or not.
A typical day
My day usually consists of doing schoolwork and taking care of my dogs! I train with my service dog every day so that she stays sharp and after she works hard she likes to play hard! When I walk a dog, I like to do a bit of exploring if the dog is up for it and will travel off the beaten path. Otherwise, I will play with dogs, usually tug of war or fetch if there is a fenced-in yard. After play time, I make sure the pups get some water and we will usually cuddle for a while if the dog initiates it!
