Pet care experience
I grew up in the countryside, so I have taken care of animals of all shapes and sizes since childhood. I’m experienced in caring for large and small dogs of all energy levels. Our family dog is a walker hound, so I’m used to taking her on long runs to tire her out! I’m also used to calming nervous/anxious dogs and helping them feel more comfortable. I will tailor care to whatever your furry friend needs! I am also experienced with cats and kittens. My current cat was bottle fed from the age of 3 weeks, so I’m experienced at caring for any age level or level of need. I clicker trained him, so I am prepared to keep up whatever training/routine you have for your dog or cat.

Madeline is awesome. I needed someone to house-sit my dog with under 2 weeks’ notice, and she agreed to meet up twice before the sitting began to meet my dog and get him familiar with her. Chief warmed up to her almost immediately! Throughout the time that I was away, I received message updates and photos of Chief. This was my first time using Rover, and knowing he was with someone who cared enough to do those things really put my mind at ease. She also left the house in great condition, and went above and beyond what was expected of her. I’d recommend Madeline to anyone!
I feel so fortunate to have found Madeline. My kitty adores her and I can travel without worry knowing Lola is being well taken care of!

Madeline is a kind, reliable person and it is evident she loves animals. This was a long time away from our two cats, Misty (16) and Lilly (3). Their needs/wants are very different (meds, play, nutrition). Madeline was wonderful at providing the care they needed (twice a day!), and the notes/photos that we needed! The cats were relaxed and happy/healthy when we got back. We would definitely want her to care for them anytime we go away,

Availability
My availability is outside the hours of the 10am-6pm during the work week. I’m available for morning and evening check-ins, walks, or overnights during the week and any time most weekends!
