It was my second time booking on Rover, so it was still scary for me to have a stranger watch my dog. Maddie was amazing and came the night before to do a meet-and-greet with my Zula. She was very easy to work with and I could tell she really did care and love my dog while I was away. Maddie sent photos throughout the stay of a VERY happy Zula and put me at ease with updates, but not too much to distract me. I’m also impressed that she went above and beyond my expectations by taking Zula on multiple walks each day and also taking her to dog parks to play fetch. I think I’ve found my local dog sitter and look forward to booking again! ☺️ Also, I can be skeptical of reviews too, but you can confirm that I’m a real person with a real dog, leaving a real review. I wish I could say nice things about the Bomi's stay. Madeline did try to do her best but it wasn't best for us. Getting a message saying that her work came up that she couldn't keep Bomi until the pick up time in the morning was not professional at all. She needed me to pick him up at noon or leave him with someone at home. We were out of town... Our pick up time was at 4 and I did let her know at the time of booking and reminded her the pick up time when dropping Bomi off. It was extremely stressful trying to coordinate with her. Our last day of short get away turned out so bad. We ended up letting ourselves into her place with the key she left. I do not recommend her unless you have flexible schedule where you can come pick up your dog anytime her schedule changes.
