I’ve had family dogs since I was young and have personal experience fostering. I’m a medical student and do not have a dog, so I am always eager to spend time with the dogs of my community!

I live across the street from a safe trail system that I know very well, so the dog I am caring for and I will be safe. If watching the dog(s) in a clients home, I will make sure to be familiar with all safety and security measures of that home.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I need to account for. I am comfortable working with many dogs but for the safety of myself and the dog, I do ask to know anything pertinent up front.
A typical day
I love walking and running so we can get a lot of energy out that way, but I also have fun engaging dogs while on walks and allowing them to enjoy their environment. During a home-visit, I like to play with dogs in their comfort zone and work their brains mentally with games, as well their bodies physically.

Availability
I am currently a student with a mixed schedule of on and off campus responsibilities. I have time almost every day for walks or potty breaks. I can plan house-sitting. I already go for many walks throughout Des Moines and West Des Moines, so I look forward to adding pups to my walks and making home-visits to play!
