Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Madeline! I have been in Los Angeles for nearly 3 years now and have been on Rover for about 4 years. I recently took some time off but am so excited to be back! I am very comfortable with caring for multiple dogs and cats at a time, and pets of all ages. I currently have 2 cats of my own, but I grew up with multiple dogs and cats. I have been a dog/cat/house sitter for family, friends, and friends of friends, and I have volunteered with the SPCA and Animal Compassion Team since early high school. I have experience doing daily check ins, as well as over night sitting, and I am comfortable with both crated and un-crated animals. If you are currently training a new dog or puppy, I am willing to help with that as best as I can. I also have experience administering oral medications as well as injections.

Madeline was a great house sitter for my dog and cat. She showed up on time, sent me pictures and questions as needed, and left the house in good condition. I felt comfortable that my babies were well taken care of and will be using her again.
I had a last-minute need for a dog sitter, and I couldn't have been luckier to find Madeline! She came through for us when we needed her most, and her care for our golden retriever Myles was exceptional. From the moment we contacted her, Madeline was responsive and accommodating. Madeline stayed with my cat and dog for a few days and they loved her company. I didn’t have cell service for much of my trip and it was a huge relief knowing they had such a loving pet sitter looking after them. Madeline was also super tidy and took great care of my house and did all of the feeing and walks based on the instructions I shared. I will rebook with Madeline. She’s a wonderful sitter and I feel lucky to have found her!
Madeline did a great job taking care of my cat while I was away. She provided photos/details of each visit and she was comfortable taking care of my cat who can be nervous around new people. I would recommend Madeline for anyone looking for cat care!

I do not have any breed preferences. If you would like me to walk your dog, I would just like to know how they are with other dogs.
A typical day
I can walk your dog(s) around your neighborhood, and If there is a park nearby, I would love to take them there! If you have a dog who loves to fetch, we can absolutely do that as well! I am not too well versed on the hikes in the area but if there is one that your dog loves, it would give me a great excuse to check it out. For cats, I understand that they all are so different. If they love to play, great! I have a wild cat myself so I am very used to helping him get his energy out. If they would prefer to cuddle or stay by themselves, I respect that and can give them that space while making sure they aren't alone.

Availability
I currently work fully remote, so if I am staying at your home, I am able to be there all day. I have been making a point to go on a ton of walks now that the weather has finally cleared up, so I look forward to taking your dog(s) with me!
