Having grown up with German Shepards, Newfoundlands, terriers, cats, and horses, kindness, care, and love for all animals has been instilled in me since a young age. Currently, I have a senior (11.5 y/o) Newfoundland and a young (11 month old) pitbull/lab/boxer mix, so I understand the differences in care necessary to dogs of all ages and am well-versed in the patience and kindness necessary to both senior and puppy care. Similarly, I respect and honor the individuality of each animal, recognizing that every dog has their own unique personality and needs and should be treated as such. I love to take dogs for walks through town, hikes in the woods, play with them inside/outside, and simply sit beside them and pet them if that’s all they ask for. I am respectful of boundaries, empathetic, and caring towards every animal I interact with. I firmly believe that they owe us nothing, we owe them everything, and my care reflects such a philosophy.
