Cat and Dog sitter
Pet care experience
Experience with dogs: I have grown up with dogs and started dog sitting (overnight and daily visits) over eight years ago. I am capable and competent of feeding, walking, and playing with a variety of dogs breeds. Experience with cats: I have cat sat at clients homes for eight years and have ensured not only that water and food bowls remain filled but that the cat receives playtime and human presence. I have prior experience giving diabetic cats insulin injections when cat sitting. Adopting a cat of my own has reinforced my belief that cat deserves more than a daily 10 min run to the house when their owners is out traveling, I believe in a ensuring your cat is able to work out their energy and get the human presence that they often miss when their owners are traveling.

For Drop Ins: I will always meet you and your pet before the official start date in order to ensure a safe introduction to your cat and/or dog. I will ask for your vet and emergency contacts prior to the start of sitting and will discuss your pets daily food, water, bathroom, and play schedule. For Cat Boarding: I have a separate room for your cat to reside in that is stocked with toys, blankets, a the perfect window ledges for lounging. It doubles as my home office so the cat will have plenty of opportunity to interact with me. I will always ask for your vet’s information and emergency contacts.

For Drop Ins: During weekdays depending on your location I will be able to stop by during mornings, afternoons, and evenings. The exact times will come down to my schedule and your preference. For cats I believe in at least spending a minimum of 45 minutes a day at your house. This allows me to provide a proper play session, a lap to sit on, and the presence of someone else in the home. For dogs my minimum time at the house is an hour. I am able and willing to spend more time with your pet as discussed, in cases were pet owners want me over for the shortest amount of time, these are the minimums I have found serve the pet best. For cat boarding: My schedule allows me to come back home midday and check in on the cats, play, snuggle, etc. I am a homebody and do my work at home in the evenings so I will feed, change water, empty litter, play, etc every night.
