Hello! We are Madeline (MJ), Kirk, Ginny, Auggie & Camicazi (MJ & Kirk's fur babies)! We have recently moved to PV from Manhattan Beach where we have been providing pet care since Rover got its start, back when it was still DogVacay! ***Please take a moment to read through our details, and if you feel this would be a good fit for your dog, feel free to contact us for a Meet-n-Greet*** ABOUT US: We have been around animals our whole lives, but we especially love dogs! We enjoy daily one to two hour walks and games with anything that squeaks, providing 24-hour supervision overnight and daycare. We have 15 years of experience caring for dogs, including puppies, special needs dogs, and seniors. ABOUT OUR DOGS: We can only take on small or medium sized dogs -depending on the breed (enter: short and fat!)- to ensure the safety of our own doggies, who are all a tiny 7 lbs. PLEASE do NOT request a Meet-n-Greet if you have a large dog. Also note: all vaccinations must be current. RATES: This is pretty straightforward. We charge the same for all breeds that meet our aforementioned requirements. Be aware that we do charge an additional $5 for holiday periods.

Our dog has known to have separation issues, but she had no such issues with Madeline and Kirk who obviously care deeply about the dogs they are watching. Madeleine and Kirk sent multiple pictures a day, took our dog on lots of walks and were extremely responsive. A great experience for us and our dog!

Madeline and Kirk are the absolute best dog sitters I've ever come across :) They are so friendly and kind, wonderful at texting correspondence, and send great update photos of my dog while she's in their care. They've been very flexible with me with drop off dates and times as my schedule can be unpredictable sometimes. They've got a beautiful home set up with lots of indoor and outdoor space, and they've loved taking my dog on long walks and hikes and on errands so she gets plenty of out and about time. My dog is always so happy to go to their house and gets so excited when we get to the door. I can't say enough wonderful things about Madeline and Kirk and highly recommend them to anyone needing care for their pup!

We do have a fenced backyard for the pooches to play in and go to the bathroom as needed. If your pooch is coming to stay with us, please remember to bring your pup’s bed, food and his or her favorite toys. A typical day
Since we live in Palos Verdes, there are a lot of hiking trails and parks to explore, and we love to be outdoors with the dogs as much as we can!

Availability
My husband and I both work from home, so there will always be someone around to supervise your pup. If not outdoors playing or walking, your dog will be spending most of his or her time with us in our office.
