Pet care experience
I have been taking care of animals since I was about 7 years old, when my family got our first dog. Over the years I have cared for hedgehogs, fish, dogs, cats, hamsters, hermit crabs, and turtles. Quite the variety! I also have experience with elderly and diabetic dogs. I feel comfortable providing medication and blood sugar tests.

My apartment is not suited for high energy dogs due to its size, however the space could definitely accommodate smaller or more relaxed dogs. In the case of watching pets in a client’s home, I worked as a nanny for several years to multiple families that had pets and feel comfortable doing so. I would love to take them on walks/hikes or even just hang out for a little bit with them inside.

I would like to know the energy level of the dog, whether or not it has any places it doesn’t like to be pet, if it becomes aggressive around other animals, and/or if it has anxiety.
A typical day
I enjoy going running and hiking at the nearby open spaces and Continental Divide Trail. I would hope to be able to take the dog with me! I also enjoy walking around town and looking at the historical homes.
