Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of animals throughout my entire life, including mice, cats, dogs, fish and horses. I've volunteered at animal shelters since the 2nd grade and have fostered over 30 cats/kittens. Back in high school, I would walk a greyhound named Morgan (these really turned into runs, that was one fast dog!) and attribute my entire track & field career to Morgan for teaching me how to sprint. I grew up with two cats, who taught me how to smell my food to make sure it was still good. Our backyard was too small to have a dog, but I’ve made up for this by looking after my friends’ doggos over the years. A special talent of mine: I bake homemade dog and cat treats!

Madeline was great! Bean had an amazing time and was so happy in the pics she sent! I got daily pics and nightly reviews of the day, which is amazing! Madeline also made Bean home made treats and asked permission before giving them to my pup! Would definitely recommend!
Madeline has taken care of my fur babies several times, and I would have to say she is my go to Gal! I don’t trust anyone besides her now! My babies are always so comfortable Around her and I know that they are in great hands with her! Thank you Madeline for being so awesome with them! 😍

When I’m house sitting, I always leave a home cleaner than I found it. I make sure food and water is always full, and litter boxes are always clean. I generally like to vacuum the house so there aren’t layers of fur floating around. I also make sure your fur babies don’t get into off limit areas in the house.

There are a few things I like to know ahead of time: feeding schedules, amount of play needed, medications or medical issues that your pets may have, if your pet gets along with other pets, and if there are plants in the house that you also need taken care of.
A typical day
I love to play with animals! Whether that’s running around the house with a cat toy or playing tug-of-war with doggos (I always let them win). I also love going for walks, especially longer walks through parks. I also love to bake, so I’m happy to make your fur baby a special treat, if they’re allowed it.

I just finished graduate school and am searching for a full-time job so I have plenty of time to play with your pet during the day. I especially like going for walks during the morning or in the late evening, and usually walk for about 1 to 2 miles.
