Hi, my name is Maddie! Caring for animals is my passion. I am an active foster volunteer at a local animal shelter. Giving animals a safe, happy, and stress-free environment while looking for their forever home is so fulfilling to me. I have two dogs of my own who are my world! I have experience with birds, chickens, guinea pigs, etc. Happy to help with critters outside of dogs and cats.

Maddie had never taken care of chickens before we hired her. It’s safe to say that she’s a chicken expert now! She was amazing with keeping in touch, and giving us updates to make sure we knew our babies were OK. When we got back, you could tell that she took the time to keep all the waterers filled, and the food put out for our chickens. We cannot wait to hire Maddie again for our dog & chickens! She was so easy-going, and eager to learn about the chickens when we first met. I’m sure she would do that with any kind of animal! A+ service!

I do not have breed preferences or restrictions. However, I would prefer to be introduced properly first so the pet is comfortable with me and I understand their personality.
A typical day
In terms of dogs, walks are always my go to. Outside of your neighborhood, St. Louis offers great parks to walk in including Forest Park or Tower Grove Park. If watching cats, I will make sure to spend time with them and give them the attention they deserve!
