I'm free on the weekends and love to take advantage of it by frequenting the dog park, going for walks and doing anything and everything that can involve my four-legged best friend. I have a five-year-old Golden Retriever named Millie. She has been certified through Loving Paws Organization as a Certified Therapy dog - Assisted Activity. We volunteer together at different events ranging from stress busting events at the University of Kansas to visiting class rooms at the Lawrence Montessori school. Millie's purpose is to provide comfort and happiness to those who need a little extra love from a furry friend. I understand that dogs are more than just pets, they are family members. I know the feeling of worry and guilt when you have to leave your dog behind, but I promise to give them so much attention and love that you will not have to wonder for one second if they are safe and having fun.
