I love dogs! I grew up with two black lab mixes and a toy poodle and have had dogs in my life ever since. I have rescued dogs in the past, but due to a breakup, find myself dog-less for the first time in my life. I miss hanging out with furry family members! From Lilly the labradoodle to Kafka the pomskimo to Nina the pit bull mix, I have experience with a variety of breeds, from designer to mutt, breeder to rescue. I'm a freelance classical singer, so if your pet likes music -- you're in luck! If you have an energetic pup who needs a lot of exercise, I'm happy to run with them as well. I dog-sit regularly for a few friends, and, although my schedule won't allow a pet of my own at this point, I'd be delighted to have a chance to hang out with your furry friend!

Madeline is an expert dog sitter and walker! She has watched our pitbull mix, Nina, in our home many times while we are away. She is intuitive and calming and the exact type of person you would want to entrust with your furry friend. She is a true gem of a person and will care expertly for your home, plants, dog - whatever you put into her loving hands! I couldn't recommend her more. She is our number one choice for dogsitting and housesitting.
Madeline is timely and diligent - she seems to really love dogs. Kafka took to her very quickly (he's a pretty anxious dog by nature) and I worry he likes her even more than he likes me. I absolutely trust her with my furbaby and can't recommend her highly enough.

She is also a great communicator and always executes tasks with the highest degree of excellence. (I'm a strong lady, but I want to make sure that I can keep both your dog and myself safe while out in the world!) I prefer to use a harness or chest leash rather than a leash attached to the collar.
A typical day
I'm happy to tailor my style to the needs of your furry friend, but a perfect dog-date for me includes a brisk walk, a little fetch or tug of war, and some snuggles! I love running in my neighborhood, and would be happy to help your dog burn some energy. I can also offer help with basic training and would be happy to reinforce any commands you are working on.
