Pet care experience
I grew up with cats and dogs! I’ve previously owned a golden retriever and a pitbull mix. I currently own two cats, who are my whole life! Before Covid I was a volunteer at a local shelter walking dogs and interacting with cats for playtime. I am a self-proclaimed cat person, but I love other people’s dogs :) I think I have a very calming and patient presence, especially with dogs and cats who have been rescued.

Madeline agreed to watch our dog Charley on short notice and did a fantastic job! He loved seeing her and she kept us updated the whole time.
Maddie did an exceptional job watching our Golden Retriever over the holiday weekend. Our pup was well cared for and gots lots of attention. Maddie also left our house even cleaner than when she arrived (and even washed the sheets!). We would absolutely trust Maddie with our dog and house again in the future!
I’m so grateful for Madeline! She takes such great care of my cats and leaves such detailed reports on them. I HIGHLY recommend her!!

I have two indoor cats, and I’m very cautious of opening doors, walking around the cats and I generally keep things pretty quiet in my home as they can be a little skittish sometimes. I have experience with nervous shelter dogs who may need some extra time to warm up to people. It’s all about patience!

Please let me know how friendly your dog is with other dogs, I think this is especially important for long walks as we may encounter many other dogs. Any signs that you know about your dog (uncomfortable, nervous, happy, etc.) so I can properly read your dog's body language!
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks while I listen to podcasts! Could walk a dog for HOURS, especially at a public park or friendly neighborhood with sidewalks.

I’m work from home, so my availability is very open! Whether you need frequent walks, or a house sitting, I’d be able to fit it into my schedule just as long as there’s access to wifi :)
