Pet care experience
Both my husband, Cole, and I grew up with several dogs (aka dog siblings). We now have two dogs of our own - Mowgli and Jessie (6 yo and 3 yo golden retrievers) who are a pivotal part of our family. They have been fantastic doggie siblings to their now 3 little human siblings and have also been great “foster” dog siblings as I have been involved in the animal rescue space. Through now several years of dog sitting, fostering, and being a part of a Houston rescue organization, I have experience with caring for dogs of all ages and temperaments. My favorite part of dog sitting is that “click” that comes with every dog when they truly believe that they are safe and loved in this home. My whole family would be honored to welcome your baby in and provide the home away from home experience (call it a doggy vacay!).

We have only used Rover a few times . Experiences have been good I thought until I saw how much more happier Mazie was during day and when picked her up after staying the day with Madeline and Cole! This was exceptional ! She was well taken care of and had so much fun playing with their Retreivers. I loved all the pictures too. We will definitely be back. Thank you Madeline and Cole!
Vinny had a wonderful time at Maddie and Cole's! They took great care of him and sent many photos. He is ready to go back and play! I didn't have to worry about him, I knew he was in great hands!

BACKYARD: We have a fully fenced backyard (no pool- just running space, and our two dogs will definitely use that space as a doggy playground if yours is interested!) DOG TEMPERAMENT: Both of our dogs are the type that will show great energy in spurts during play time and then like to lounge on the couch/ on their backs/ on us. They ADORE other dogs and people and are eager to be around others. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: Our dogs are crate trained but typically like sleeping on their doggie beds in their own private den area, which is always welcome to other doggie visitors. We are ALWAYS willing to accommodate to make your fur baby comfortable (which includes cuddle sessions in our bed at night if they prefer human presence).

If your dog has any medical needs/requirements or things that you know help him/her feel more comfortable, please let us know. We are always happy to accommodate :) Given that we do have 3 small children in the house, we do ask that you provide us information on the experience your dog has around small children (age 5 and younger). ??
A typical day
ACTIVITY/HEALTH: We are very active people who love walks by our neighborhood retention pond in the morning or evenings - we would love to bring your pup if they are a fan of walking too. :) We also love throwing the ball in the backyard in the evening / playing toy tug of war!

Availability
WORK SCHEDULE: Both my husband and I exclusively work from home so we are ALWAYS around :) Even after work hours, there is almost always at least one of us home at any time of the day (we and our children are home bodies!). If we ever do have to leave, it’s usually for only about an hour at a time. :) POTTY BREAKS: Our dogs are definitely spoiled and we tend to let them out to our backyard every 1-2 hours to go potty or catch some playtime.
