I’ve been a dog sitter and walker since middle school for dogs of all sizes and ages! I’ve been a Wag Walker for the last 4 years, and growing up I walked dogs and dog sat for neighbors and clients where I fed, groomed, and cuddled with dogs. I’ve had over 100 clients throughout my dog sitting/dog walking career, ranging from 3 month old puppies to 11 year old seniors. I grew up with a Husky and golden retriever so I’m well versed in the needs of a high-energy dog including long walks, fun play sessions, and going on hikes with my dogs. I’ve also taken care of my Husky while she was sick/underwent surgery so I’m experienced in giving medication and physical therapy.

Madeline sat for our kitty for 2 weeks and did a fantastic job! I was a little nervous to let a stranger into our home and sit for our kitty for so long for the first time, but she was wonderful. Madeline agreed to come for a meet and greet before our trip, she arrived on time and clicked with our cat and me. She visited our cat every day, communicated how she was doing daily, responded to text very quickly, sent cute kitty pics daily, asked for help if/when she needed, and was so relaxed when a few minor house challenges came up. She treated our home with respect and loved on our kitty. I feel our cat also liked her very much because when we got home, she was very relaxed and sweet, no signs of any stress. I will certainly hire Madeline again.

When I’m at a client’s home, I always make sure that I curate and cater my care specifically for your dog. Every dog is different and has different physical/emotional needs, and the way I take care of one dog will be completely different than the next based on their specific traits. If your dog isn’t very active and loves to chill and cuddle, I’ll grab a book and curl up on the couch with them. If your dog loves long walks and invigorating play sessions, I’ll bring out their favorite toys and explore the neighborhood with them on our walks. My number one priority is making sure your dog feels loved, cared for, and is happy! I always go over the information and details about care with the client prior to sitting/walking and make sure we’re on the same page. During sittings/walks, I always provide updates and photos of our time together so you never feel worried or left in the dark about what we’re up to. If there’s ever a concern or question, I won’t hesitate to reach out and communicate.

A typical day
I’ll make sure your dog has been emotionally and physically satisfied! We’ll begin and end our days with walks around the neighborhood and nearby parks. During the day, I’ll play with them using their favorite toys, spend some down-time with them and cuddle, give them treats when they are being good, and make sure their meal times are prompt and ready.

I’m currently taking online asynchronous summer classes, so I have plenty of time to play with your dog, go on long walks, and give your dog the attention they deserve! I’m very flexible and have a car so I can commute very easily to your dog/home.
