Building trust with pups!
Pet care experience
I’m Madeline, and I have experience with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities! I’ve always had multiple dogs growing up, and I couldn’t be more grateful for that experience. I previously worked at Petco, and was gearing up to become a dog trainer. I also have a lot of experience with other pets due to my former job, so if any lizards or chinchillas need taking care of, let me know! I just recently moved into a studio apartment by myself, so I’d love to get out of the house and hang out with some animals!
Reviews
This was our first time using Madeline. We have 1 senior dog and 1 very timid pitbull/lab. She stayed at our home and was very respectful of our home. She was so great with our dogs! She walked them 2 times a day per our instructions, sent us pictures and kept us informed the entire time. Appreciate her so much!
Madeline cared for our very high energy 1 year old pup. She gave him plenty of attention and affection. She even took him on a puppy lunch date! He was in very good spirits after her visit and didn’t even seem to notice we were gone. I would hire Madeline again.
Madeline did an amazing job watching our senior dog. Bobo was immediately at ease with Madeline and seeing a normally not social with strangers dog show such calmness was a great sign. Madeline went above and beyond in taking care of Bobo and took him for walks and sent us great pictures. I highly recommend Madeline for your pet needs. Madeline will go above and beyond for your pet and you can be at ease knowing your pet is in great hands.
Madeline took exceptional care of our aging dog Roscoe during the final year of his life. She took him for walks when he was able, pulled him around the neighborhood in a wagon when he wasn't, and took him many times to his favorite place, the dog beach at Huntington Beach. Roscoe could not have been in better hands, Madeline had a great connection with him, and he had complete trust in her.

I’m all for positive reinforcement when it comes to training animals and when being responsible for them, so I will be nothing but kind and do nothing but reward your pup! Give me instructions and I will follow :)
Information Madeline C. would like to know about your pet
It’s great to know if the animal has anxiety, what the triggers are, and ways we can calm the animal down and distract them from that trigger. We want our animals to remain calm and collected, and if a stimuli is effecting them negatively, we need to pay close attention to that and manage it.
A typical day
I like to do things that improve the dogs behavior, while also allowing them to get rewards and have fun. Things like “go find” prior to having them perform a trick is an example. I also like the game “find the treat” which is pretty self explanatory.

I took care of my pit bull for years, and I even brought him to college with me! (he stayed in my dorm and loved the attention around campus). Caring for him took a big chunk of my time, because he was elderly and required more attention than a younger dog. I never felt more fulfilled than when I was a mom to him when he needed me most. I want to provide a safe and loving environment for pets whose parents need a little vacation! I currently don’t have a job, so my schedule for pet sitting is extremely flexible.
