Pet care experience
I have over 11 years of experience caring for animals; 5+ years as a sitter. My professional experience with dogs includes a 5 star rating on Wag, and volunteering weekly at my local shelter as a dog walker. I'm a young professional new to Chicago, and a recent graduate of the University of Virginia (go Hoos!). On a personal note, I grew up caring for animals of all shapes and sizes (horses, cows, sheep, dogs, cats), and I miss spending time with them. Dog sitting is a great way for me to spend some time with animals around my full-time M-F work schedule. If you're going away for the weekend or need a sitter for morning and evening feeding/walks -- I'm your girl! I can't wait to meet your dog(s)!

Madeline Barney is very much a dog person. She grew up with two family dogs (Cali and Rosie), volunteered at the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA throughout college as a dog walker, and helped me personally foster two dogs from the SPCA. She will follow the rules that any owner sets, while spoiling there dogs with walks, treats and belly rubs if she can.
I was Maddy's supervisor while she volunteered at the SPCA and she was always on time, responsible, dedicated, and positive. Her love for dogs was evident every time she came to the shelter. She was an excellent dog-walker and caretaker and always went the extra mile to help out. I was very impressed with Maddy's commitment to helping the dogs at the SPCA and I believe she will continue to be an amazing and loving dog caregiver.
Madeline is a caring, reliable friend who would be a great caregiver for your dog. She has dedicated many volunteer hours to the SPCA, and it's clear that she really loves spending time with the animals. She is timely and dependable and has experience with many different dog types and personalities, as well as cats and other animals.
