Hello All! My name is Madeline and I have recently finished my bachelors degree and am looking for more work alongside my current food service job. I have grown up with dogs in my home for majority of my life and am living with them at home in Squamish. I am often relied on by neighbours and friends to care for their animals when they cannot alongside my own. Growing up I was always surrounded by dogs, majority big breeds so I have ample experience on handling large dogs. My parent’s dogs who I currently live with are very reactive, so I also have some experience with walking dogs who are not well socialized. In high school I was a volunteer for the SPCA in Squamish working with the cats specifically. Though I have never owned a cat myself, I have experience through this volunteering as well as caring for neighbours and friends cats whenever needed. I have previous experience taking care of a plethora of animals ranging from reptiles, birds and dogs of all sizes! I would love to be able to have my own dog someday but for the time being I would prefer to take care of others dogs to prepare. Until then, I have a cuddly bunny named Velvet that I love dearly. I am very trustworthy, with a huge respect for animals as well as proper work ethic. I am very punctual and reliable — a talent which I pride myself in.
