We were first introduced to Maddie by dear friends of ours who had adopted their dog from her (she was his foster mom). Our friends put us in touch with Maddie because she had another foster who was looking for his forever home. From the moment we met her, we fell in love with her warm and giving personality and were impressed (to put it mildly) by her skill and talent working with animals. We learned Maddie is studying to be a vet at NC State University (one of the top vet schools in the country) and were doubly impressed with her commitment to helping pets and their owners live better and more fulfilling lives. We adopted our dog, Bentley, from her and have asked her to keep him when we had to head out of town. Even on short notice, Maddie has always been there for us. And even during an emergency in her family when she was keeping Bentley for su, Maddie kept us up to date on what was going on and let us come down late at night to pick him. And as for Bentley, he LOVES her still and is as happy as he can be when he gets to visit her. In short, Maddie is a jewel. You just couldn’t ask for a more dedicated, knowledgeable or caring professional with whom to entrust your pet.

Maddie has loved animals as long as I've known her. She is great with them and always treats them with respect. She will make a great veterinarian.
