Hi! I'm new to Rover but I've been a pet owner for almost 7 years. I've had my dog (Harper) since she was a puppy! I've also grown up with boxers & boston terriers, and cared for my friends pets over the years. I'm a licensed teacher, so most of my working years have been spent in childcare and education. (I've since left teaching & work part time at a flower market in Portland). For many people, pets are like your children! So I'll treat them with the same level of care and attention I would in my previous line of work. Being a dog owner myself, I'm very careful with who I bring into my home to take care of my dog. I'm sure the same applies to you! I prefer to meet with clients before officially booking any services for the first time to make sure we're both on the same page and trust each other. Communication is really important, so please give me as much information as you can & don't be surprised if I ask lots of questions...I want to be prepared for anything, and safety is my number one priority! Availability
I work part time so my schedule is fairly flexible, most days I'm off work and home by 1pm. I do have my own pup at home, so I won't be taking boarding clients or bringing any pets to my place at this time.
