Hello everyone! My name is Madeleine. I am truly an animal lover. My New Years resolution for the past 3 consecutive years has literally been to spend more time with dogs. That being said, I have been taking care of animals all of my life. Since I was young, my family had dogs and I had a cat of my own for 5 years before my mom adopted her (I moved to Monterey to go to graduate school). I have also walked dogs/housesat professionally in the past. I really try to respect animals boundaries and pay close attention to their body language-I feel that when you do that, the rest usually goes pretty smoothly. Please call me and let's chat about what I can do for you and your furry family! My schedule varies - but my work is remote, which allows me to play with your pet and take them on walks if necessary :) I’m flexible! I treat your animals with love and affection! I try to listen to body language and signals from pets as much as possible - building trust slowly. I’m new to them, so I don’t want to rush anything. And then (if they let me), I’m just a big cuddly bear! If they don’t like touch, I’ll respect that as well and we’ll be nice hang out companions while you’re away :) I try to reinforce whatever training methods you’ve implemented. I like to be playful with pets, or match whatever energy they have. I make sure they’re hydrated, fed, and comfortable. It’s all really dependent on your pet and their personality.
