Pet care experience
My family has had dogs and cats since I was a kid and I walked and cared for dogs at the local shelter frequently in high school. I’m comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and dogsit for multiple of my friends currently. I have been pet sitting for over 2 years now and I have worked with a variety of animals, including cats and dogs of all breeds, including those which are more high energy and those with medical conditions. I currently have a doberman puppy and a cat so I am also well experienced with young puppies and their needs!

Madeleine housesat for our cat and dog for 3 nights in August. Interactions were positive with her from the beginning. She is a good communicator, prompt, respectful. During her stay with our pets, she communicated daily with us, sent photos. They seemed happy and all was well when we came home. Thanks, Madeleine!
Madeleine was absolutely wonderful! She allowed us to take a vacation and took such good care our fur baby. He was so happy the entire time. Madeleine updated every day with reports and pictures which gave us peace of mind. If you are anxious parents like we are she is definitely the perfect person for you. We could not have had a wonderful vacation with out her!
Madeleine was an amazing dog sitter! She was incredibly accommodating to our schedule and made sure Seymour got all the food and exercise he needed while we were away. Looking forward to having her watch him again in the future!

Let me know if your dog has any specific behavioral or medical needs which I need to be aware of. I am happy to work with dogs that are reactive as long as I have been properly communicated with about what will work best for the dog while I am caring for them. If your dog enjoys being around other dogs, I’m happy to bring my dog along for visits as well!
A typical day
I love to take the dogs that I watch on walks and to the park if that’s something they’re comfortable with! I frequently take my dog to discovery park and I love doing enrichment activities to make sure mental enrichment is being fulfilled as well as physical activity!

I’m currently working mornings Monday-Friday at my job, so I am typically available anytime after 1 pm during the week and I am completely available Saturdays and Sundays!
