Looking to make some doggie friends!

I am desperate for a pup of my own, but am unable to commit at the moment due to potentially moving abroad in the future and maybe not always working from home if my job situation changes. I am therefore looking to walk and look after other people's dogs instead! I understand how important each dog is to their owner and how they really become part of your family - my family had a yellow lab called Maisy for 15 years and because I was the one that wanted her the most, I was the one that looked after her the most! I really miss having a dog in my life! I walk a lot anyway, so it would be great to have some company when I am out and about and to be able to help other people in the community look after their dogs.

Maddy is an extremely caring and attentive character who has a real affinity with animals. Dogs especially seem to absolutely adore her and I question where my own dogs’ loyalties lie when Maddy is around! I have no hesitation in recommending her as a responsible and able caregiver as she has so much love to share and will bring fun and joy to any dog.
Hi I am delighted to recommend Madeleine. I can't think of anyone so enamoured with dogs as Maddy. Whereas I go for a walk to get some fresh air, Maddy goes out walking everyday to get her doggy fix. She is naturally a very enthusiastic, intuitive, kind and gentle person, qualities which translate into a very caring and responsible dog carer and most importantly you gain the impression from Maddy that she is extremely sensible and would be very calm in an emergency. She has looked after our labrador on numerous occasions, even over weekends, and has always followed our instructions to on how to keep Maisy happy and well-exercised. I suspect Maisy may have had a few more treats than she is normally allowed but was not telling! I thoroughly recommend Madeleine as a dog caregiver - I'm sure that mutual happiness would be the end result.

I love each and every breed of dog, so it doesn't matter to me. I am also happy to look after a puppy. I was responsible for training my old dog when she was a puppy so I know what it is like! My flat and garden are not huge, so whilst I am happy to look after any breed of dog, the owner must feel comfortable with that too.
A typical day
We will go on walks around the nearby common where there are lots of other doggies to make friends with, lots of space to play fetch and lots of mud to roll around in. Or we can stick to the paths and quiet residential streets if the dog prefers. We can play lots of games inside or curl up on the sofa together, whatever the dog would rather!
