Long walks and chill atmosphere

Pet care experience

CURRENT SERVICES: - dog boarding at my home only. Dogs with known separation anxiety or anxiety issues will be required to do a test night prior to booking. Dogs who exhibit aggressive behavior will not be accepted for the safety of my dogs and other Rover dogs I may have. NOTE: I do not let dogs sleep in our room at night. We have a large home and lots of space for animals to sleep on couches, floors, and crates! If your dog is not able to sleep on their own I will not be able to accept them at this time! Untrained dogs or dogs that require a leash will have to be considered prior to booking (excluding puppies). For the months of November and December, due to Holiday craziness, I will not be accepting new clients. If you are anticipating needing a pet sitter during the holidays, please consider booking a stay in the months leading up to the end of the year. Please let me know ahead of time of any pickup or drop off time changes. I am very flexible, but if you are late for pick up without any notice and don’t contact me, I will charge a $25 late pick up fee.

We had the pleasure of having Madeleine take care of our little munchkin, Talulah, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Madeleine's responsiveness and easy communication made the entire process seamless and stress-free. One of the standout features of Madeleine's services is her two awesome Huskies. They provided Talulah with loads of playtime and companionship, ensuring that TMoney was not only well cared for but also had a blast during her stay! Madeleine's genuine love and care for dogs were evident in the way she interacted with Talulah and also her own pups. It's always a relief to know that your pet is in good hands, and Madeleine went above and beyond to provide a safe and comfortable environment for ours. Overall, we highly recommend Madeleine’s dog-sitting services. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and the added bonus of her friendly Huskies make her an excellent choice for anyone seeking reliable and loving care for their pets. We will definitely be using her services again in the future. Thank you, Madeleine, for taking such great care of Talulah!

Maddie was so welcoming and provided such great care for Taco! She accommodated us last minute (lifesaving!!!) and took care of Taco as her own even though she didn’t know him at all. Maddie sent us a thorough recap of Taco’s day along with tons of pictures, which made our day! Cannot recommend enough!

Sadie had the best time with Maddie and the dogs! Every night, Maddie would send a summary of Sadie’s day and send a ton of pictures. She took the dogs for walks every day and let them play in the yard which was perfect for my very high-energy dog :)

We have left our dogs with Madeleine twice now and she’s been great! We have two dogs with lots of personally and she is so wonderful keeping them busy and well cared for! We had a health hiccup arise in our last stay and Madeleine handled the situation perfectly. Her frequent updates and pictures throughout the week are so thoughtful and her communication overall has been fantastic! Thank you Madeleine for taking such great care of our pups!

All dogs staying with me are given long walks, dog on dog play time, and lots of potty breaks. For safety reasons, all dogs are separated during mealtimes and when they receive treats. Unsupervised dogs are separated using gates and/or crates, depending on the dog, to prevent any fighting or property destruction. New dogs remain separate from the main home area until they are well acclimated to the other dogs and people. If any growling, guarding, or fighting takes place, the dogs will remain separate from the main group for the remainder of their stay. Keeping your dog's safe and happy is a top priority for me. I don't like to leave situations up to chance and take preventative measures to ensure there are no accidents.

Information Madeleine M. would like to know about your pet

- Is your dog off-leash trained or do they require a leash? - Has your dog ever shown signs of being protective/aggressive of toys, food, water, people, etc? - Is your dog able to sleep on their own? (note: we do not allow dogs in our bedroom) - What does a typical day for your dog look like? - How does your dog do around other dogs - do they get along? - Does your dog have any known anxiety or separation anxiety? (Due to the sensitive sleeping schedule of other members of the household - dogs who are not able to sleep on their own will not be accepted. Please be honest about this as it is very important to us!) Thank you!

A typical day

A typical day for dogs in my care is waking up between 9-10am, 10-15 minutes bathroom and outside time, breakfast followed by a long hike around 2 miles, coming home and relaxing with frequent potty breaks, dinner, and just overall chill vibes. Any dogs with anxiety issues will also have to be considered. When you drop off your dog, please be sure to bring food, bowls, bedding, treats, medicine, and anything else they might need or want. If you currently crate your dog when you leave, sleep, or if you're using it for training, please bring their crate at drop off - no exceptions! If you are going to be late for pick up - please let me know. Otherwise, you will be charged an extended stay fee.

I get up early, feed my dog, then take my husky on a 2 mile walk everyday. We will then come home and it’s usually nap time by then and I start to work. I work as a video editor. I frequently take breaks to go outside and walk around and my dog joins me. Lots of potty breaks! We then end the day around 7-8 and by then it’s dinner time. I let her out again before bed and then we repeat. My schedule is fairly consistent!
