Pet care experience

I have experience working at a doggy day-care and hotel where I was trained to handle dog emergencies like choking, fights, accidental ingestions, etc. I have also raised kittens and had cat companions since I was young. Currently, I have three loving cats. I have given meds to both cats and dogs and feel comfortable with this from not only my experience at the dog daycare/hotel but also as a healthcare professional working as a medical assistant.

Madeleine rehabilitated a wounded stray cat found in the street and saved a lost kitten at her doorstep. You and your dog can be sure that she always has care, happiness, and safety as her first priorities.

Safety, trust & environment

I have three cats of my own that I adore. I understand completely the trust that is needed to have someone take care of your pet. That’s why I promise to take care of your pet as if they were mine, and give them the attention they need and the peace of mind you deserve.

Information Madeleine M. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if you are uncomfortable with treats or certain paths, want to discourage a certain behavior, any allergies/special needs, or anything else you wish for your dog, and I will honor it :)

A typical day

Walking is fun but I also want your dog to be able to explore their environment as they please (safely, of course). Speed walking and racing through a walk might be exciting once in a while, but letting your dog stop and smell the roses so to say is important for their brain and overall mood! So your dog wants to sniff one spot on the ground for 3 minutes? Why not? Your dog wants to sit and watch a butterfly for another 5 minutes? Go right ahead! Walks are adventures!

I work part time at a clinic and am currently going to school part time for my Master’s degree. I find myself having free time that I would like to use to be active and have fun! I don’t see a better way than working with some local pets :)
