I grew up with my “childhood” dog, that my family has had for 4 years, and before that I would dog-sit for my neighbors. In addition to my pup, I grew up having at least 5 cats at home so I am very used to caring for cats of all ages. Also, I worked as a kennel technician where I cared for 10's of dogs at a time of all sizes and needs.

Madeleine blew us away! She took care of our 2 cats while we were away for 10 days, completely taking away all the worries we had about leaving for that long. We had never left our cats for that long, AND our second cat has only been with us for about 6 months, leaving us very anxious and not knowing what would be best. Meeting Madeleine was a huge blessing, and we never worried about them a single day we were away. She understood and responded to all their quirks, feeding and playing with them just as they needed, and respected our home to the utmost. She sent amazing updates with lots of pics and video, and was incredible responsive. She helped create the perfect routine for our kitties while we were gone, and even did a load of washing and left our home spotless, which was worth its weight in gold!! I can't speak more highly of Madeleine's work ethic and dependability. We'll be honored to book her again!

I am comfortable playing with animals both inside and outside and can take dogs for long walks, as I love walks and outdoors myself. My family dog is very energetic and "needy" so I am used to having to give a lot of attention to animals for long periods of time to get some energy out.

I love taking dogs for walks in parks and enjoying the nature! I am up to doing anything that the dogs are interested in from water activities to outdoor activities.

Availability
I work as a kennel tech/vet assistant full-time, so 3-4 days of the week (including the weekend) I work from 7:30am-6pm(ish), not including commute. I do get an hour for lunch, so depending on how far the commute is from my work I am happy to give the fur babies a potty break! I am more than happy to give the animals all the love and play time if I am not working, and also outside of my working hours!
