Pet care experience
I was guided, educated and trusted to manage and operate a dog kennel in Toronto where I developed an understanding of; pack dynamics, behaviour modification, basic grooming, breed specific drives, individual personalities. I have studied under some well known trainers such as Michael Ellis, Tyler Muto, and Nino Drowaert to educate myself even further in dog training and behaviour. I conduct weekly training classes in Uxbridge for puppy foundations and Dock Diving classes. My passion and care for dogs goes beyond work and knowledge as demonstrated with “Run4Paws” which I created for my ultra marathon race as my passion became my biggest driving force to help as many shelter dogs as I could.

Madeleine has been looking after my dogs on a regular basis, sometimes just for walks and others keeping them when I'm away. I have two ridgeback and one of them is quite a handful. She has been exceptional with them and a total natural, they seemed to love her from the get go. I would highly recommend her. She is a lovely trustworthy perone who loves dogs and is very responsible.
Maddie has a ton of knowledge from training to grooming to feeding dogs. She has worked with dogs in the past at a training facility where she was professionally trained on how to interact with new dogs in order to define dominance and then trained dogs herself. She’s had dogs for as long as I’ve known her, and is super comfortable with other people’s dogs. She lives in a great area for walks along the water or in the forest. She’s super passionate about animals in general. She helped me pick out a puppy when we were looking for the right one for our family and it was a great choice! When it comes to dogs, Maddie is a great combination of knowledgeable and caring!

I would love to know the dogs personality, their behaviours towards other beings ( dogs, adults, kids, squirrels, cats ) if they have food allergies as I train primarily with food, and if they have any sensitivities or weaknesses example ( hates having their head scratched, prefers back )
A typical day
We work on engagement, we can play chasing games, fetch, loose leash walking and other obedience behaviours which can enrich their days. All training is done in a fun and interactive playful way depending on the dogs drives and motivations

My daily routine is catered around dog care as this is my main passion. I spend most of my time with my dogs and my clients dogs for training and exercise. If I’m not educating them I am educating myself on the latest information in the industry
