Pet care experience
Since I was about 12 years old, I've been taking care of dogs and cats of all sizes. Growing up, we always had a mix of dogs in the house - small mixed breeds, to large German Shepherds - and usually at least 3 dogs at once! I've looked after them and worked on some very basic training whilst they were puppies, all the way up to their old age. I love getting to know dogs and their different personalities, their favourite games, and which treat they like the most! I'm also experienced in looking after adult to senior cats - we always had cats and dogs at my parents' house - so I'm happy to look after a combination, or either cats or dogs separately.

A typical day
I'm very flexible with what I would do with your pet, depends what they prefer! For dogs that need a lot of exercise, we can go for a longer walk or play more energising games. If your dog needs mental stipulation as well, I love trying to find new puzzles and teaching them new things. And if your dog is older, or has special needs or requirements, or is even just a bit stubborn, I'm happy to take it slow, go at their pace, and just keep them company!

Availability
I'm currently working part time (Monday - Thursday) based in Inverness, and I have a car, so I'm able to provide a few walks or drop-in visits a day. I try to keep my calendar updated regularly, but usually Friday, Saturday and Sunday are free! From April onwards, my work schedule will change from Tuesday to Saturday and I will be working longer hours, so I will update my availability nearer the time as I would realistically only have time for 1 walk/visit per working day and more on Sundays and Mondays. I want to ensure I have enough time to commit to your pet so they have my full attention, without me needing to rush off to work/other commitments, so if you have any questions, just send me a message! If I can accommodate, I will.
