Hi there! My name is Maddie and I have been working with animals since I was a kid. I grew up pet sitting for my neighbors, and have since had many years of experience running a foster/volunteer program in an large municipal animal shelter, as well as experience as a professional pet sitter/dog walker. I love dogs, and have my own pup who I have trained as a Canine Good Citizen and a Therapy Dog. I also have a very special pittie that I adopted from a local rescue a few years ago, and a cat that we raised from 3 weeks of age! I am 100% a fan of positive training, and have extensive experience giving a wide variety of meds to dogs and cats (including insulin shots, pills, transdermal meds, sub-q fluids, and much more). I am also an active pet foster parent, so my pets are used to animals coming in and out of my home frequently - they get so excited each time a new friend comes to visit! I am passionate about ensuring animal welfare in my community, and also just love to hang out with animals!
