Pet care experience
Dog care has been one my side gigs since I was a kid! My first "job" at 11 was picking up poo (I know 😅) for a pair of rambunctious pitties, and then in my teens I moved on to dog walking and sitting. I am a huge dog lover and am happy to cuddle any snuggly clingy dogs. I am just as happy to build a trusting relationship with anxious dogs, or create a safe space for independent dogs to do their own thing while they're hanging out with me.
Reviews
Madelaine and Nick took such stellar care of our dog! They were flexible, kind, and really attentive to our dog’s needs. Our pup also loved wrestling and running around with sweet Amina, and it was such a joy receiving pictures of them having fun together. We will definitely rebook and are so grateful for the excellent care!!
My traumatized, anxious pup seems to feel safe, relaxed and at home with them!!
My pup had so much fun, that when I went to pick her up; she (my dog) asked me to move in with Madelaine and Amina so that she could keep playing
Madeleine was so good to our dog, we felt very comfortable with her watching over him. This was the first time our dog stayed with someone other than family and friends so he was a bit nervous at first but Madelaine made him feel comfortable and safe so he came out of his shell quickly! Plus her dog Amina is the sweetest pup buddy.

We live in a house with a spacious, fenced backyard. There is tons of room to run around and play fetch or tug of war. We have in incredibly sweet 42-lb 4 year old pittie mix named Amina. She is a super patient, very cuddly, easy going girl who gets along great with other dogs. If your dog wants to play, she will tire them out with running around and wrestling, or tug-of-war (her favorite). She also loves naps and is happy to lay low and let lazy dogs have their downtime. She is super versatile, and she always "matches the vibe," as we say. We have introduced her to 25+ dogs at this point, and she has never had an issue with any; she just wants to be everybody's buddy. Additionally, we have multiple rooms that are set up for Amina to hang out in, so if your dog is feeling shy or needs space to settle in, Amina is totally able to hang out by her self to give your dog solo time with me. Note: Amina is caught up with all vaccinations and is on preventatives for fleas, heart worms and ticks. I also have one mini Holland Lop bunny who is used to dogs, but is also securely caged and won't be interacting with the dogs much. As with Amina, I am able to move her to other rooms if need be. Having been a pet owner for awhile (my family also had pets my whole growing up), I am comfortable administering simple medications, and of course following whatever food schedule/requirements that your pup needs. I am here to give your pup whatever they need and make their stay super enjoyable - like a little dog vacation! If you have any questions, please message me, as I want to give you the peace of mind that your needs will be met. I know how much I have worried during the times I had to leave Amina for a trip, and I want you to feel safe and confident that your dog will receive as much love and care as they would at home! Additionally, while your dog is staying at my place, I will provide pictures to keep you updated on their adventures and how they're doing. :)

Information Madelaine B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has allergies or not! I have some treats at home (usually grain free, always top quality), but I will NOT feed them any unless I know for sure that they can have them. Also, I'd love to know: 1) Does your dog like playing with other dogs? If so, how long before they need a little alone time? 2) What are their favorite activities? 3) Do they have separation anxiety? If so, what can I do to make them more comfortable? 4) Please let me know their feeding schedule/meal preparation protocol, if applicable. 5) Does your dog have their shots? This is mostly so I can know if the dog park is appropriate or not. 6) Please tell me anything else that you think is relevant to your little friend. I want YOU to feel comfortable knowing that your dog is in the best hands, which means I am happy to hear every last detail about what your dog needs/likes/doesn't like. More is really more in this situation!
A typical day
We have a nice big backyard that is good for running around, fetch, and wrassling. My neighborhood is great for walking, and I am happy to walk with them to get some energy out! At home, Amina loves tug of war and wrestling, and is sure to tire your dog out if they like those kinds of games. We also have lots of fun toys that they can keep themself busy with! Once your pup is all tired out, there will be cuddles galore inside.

Availability
I have a part time job where I am gone 4-6 hours a few days per week. Besides that, I am home most of the time, as my second job is remote/ work from home. Your dog must be okay being left alone for short periods. When I am home there is lots of cuddle time and outside play time.
