Over my lifetime, my family has owned a plethora of dogs ranging from small breeds to XL breeds. With the wide variety of dogs we have owned, I have learned how to care for dogs with all kinds of personalities and preferences. In addition to caring for my personal pets, I have been trusted by family and friends over the years to watch their furry friends. This includes basic and specific needs like feeding, walking, bathing, medication administration, etc., each of which was scheduled/specialized to the needs of each dog. Lastly, I have 5+ years of veterinary experience working in small and large vet clinics and have gained a lot of knowledge that can be used to ensure your pets safety and well-being. Meaning, I have a good understanding of when your pet may not be feeling it’s best, and I will know when health-related issues need to be addressed with you and/or your trusted veterinarian.

My house is kept neat so that there are no opportunities for your pup to get into anything they’re not supposed too. Additionally, I have an extremely friendly golden retriever named Winnie. She hasn’t met a dog that she hasn’t gotten along with. Winnie is the only dog in the house.

If your pet has any specific needs such as feeding instructions, medication instructions, etc. please let me know and we can arrange a plan to ensure they are receiving proper care. Additionally, if your dog has any quirks that need to be addressed such as chewing personal items or any kind of aggressiveness, please discuss this with me before boarding to ensure that I will be comfortable with watching your pet.
A typical day
I have a lot of activities I would love to do with your dog. I would love to take your dog on fun, relaxing walks. There is also a dog park near by to take your pet to run and play, but only, of course, if they are fully vaccinated, friendly with other dogs and if you are comfortable with it. Lastly, I love to stimulate the mind and practice tricks or commands using a positive reinforcement technique. I am not a professional dog trainer by any means, but I am comfortable teaching/practicing basic commands with your dog using knowledge I have gained by training my own dog.

Availability
I currently work at home full-time Monday-Friday. Although I am working, I am able to step away from my work to adequately keep an eye on your dog and ensure that their needs are met all day, every day.
