Pet care experience
Hey there! I recently moved to Boston for grad school. I started dog walking for Rover in May 2018 and have loved every second of it. I've lived with dogs all my life and have enjoyed teaching them tricks, taking them for walks, and watching them grow into well-mannered adult dogs. I'm usually available during the morning, afternoon, or early evening, both weekdays and weekends. The only exception is that I have classes Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I have long breaks in between classes so I hope I can be accommodating to your dog's schedule. I am NOT a certified dog trainer, but I've had a lot of success training my own dogs to do various practical commands (sit, lay-down, heel, come here) and silly tricks (roll-over, play dead). In addition to walking your dog, I am able to provide positive reinforcement on tricks your dog already knows or help your dog learn new tricks.

I wish I could give Maddy more stars. She was awesome — recommend her highly. She was a great communicator, and took great care of our three pets.
Maddy is very reliable and my pups love her! I'm so glad she's been able to give them the attention I want them to have while I'm away at work. When I come home they are a bit calmer because of the visit and stimulation she was able to give them.
Maddy checked in on our 4 month old puppy, fed him dinner and took him for a quick walk before putting him back in his crate. Maddy was professional, considerate of our puppy and quick to respond to any questions we had. I definitely recommend Maddy if you needed someone to look after your dog.
Maddy is wonderful. She’s made adjusting for our new pup and older dog a breeze. She is reliable and responsible. We are for sure going to use her for our future needs.

I'm curious: what makes your dog unique? Does your dog pull on walks, plop down on the sidewalk, hide under the bed when it's thundering/lightning, or love/hate water? I believe it's important to get to know a dog before walking or taking care of him or her on a consistent basis. I do not have any breed preferences, but I have the most experience with small and medium sized dogs. However, I am willing to walk dogs of all sizes.
A typical day
I usually walk dogs in the surrounding neighborhood--that is, within walking distance of their house. With my own dogs, I enjoy driving to the local leashed dog park so they get a chance to socialize with other dogs in a neutral setting.
