My name is Maddy and I’ve always grown up with pets and currently live with my mutt, Mac, of 17 years! I’ve always been that friend that watches others’ dogs and have had a wide range of experience with puppies to old fellas, well trained to...”spirited”, and am comfortable staying over night. Before I moved to AZ I used to volunteer with the Humane Society. I have also owned and watched cats (and foster kittens). Still can’t decide if I’m a dog or cat person to be honest - love both! I myself am an active person and enjoy being outdoors so walks and trips to the dog park are in my wheel house. I’ll also offer bathing services (especially if we get muddy!) for free if you provide the shampoo and towel. Professionally I will be finishing a license in wilderness therapy and hope to train a therapy dog to use with kiddos. Looking to make extra income before finishing grad school and love working with animals. Active. Compassionate. Trustworthy.

Maddy is super reliable. I feel comfortable having her care for my pets. She takes my dog outside when asked and follows all feeding instructions. She is great with both my cat and dog.
Maddy is an incredibly caring human. When she was in grad school, she would stay at our house when we were out of town and take such good care of our lady, Bisou. She always sent us photos of her and sent updates on our girl. I can’t say how incredibly helpful she was and how much happiness she brought Bisou. I always had piece of mind when Maddy was with her.

How many dogs? What do they like to do / play with? Are they friendly around other animals/people if we go outside? Any tendencies to know of (i.e. chasing cars) that would help me keep them safe? How often should we go out on walks and to the bathroom? When are the feeding times and how much? Where do they like to sleep? Can I give them treats? Any allergies or special needs?
A typical day
-Willow Creek dog park & Prescott Valley dog park is a must if your dog is friendly around other dogs! Although I just moved here the trails I already love include: -A.C. Williams Granite Creek -Peavine Trail (Watson Lake) -Iron King Trail -Lynx Lake and will always take recommendations. Is your pup older or maybe just a snuggler? That’s ok too. I’m always happy to spend time outdoors but know some dogs barely like to go outside for the potty. I’d be happy to have play time inside or simply pet and keep your doggo company. If you have a younger pup I’d love to spend time reviewing their commands for extra practice to help them become trained.
