Pet care experience
Hi, my name is I’m Maddy. I’ve had the pleasure of being able to grow up with two long-haired German Shepherds, and it showed me the divine love animals have for their owners. Right now, I have one 6-year-old Mini Goldendoodle who is my pride and joy. I’ve been volunteering at my local animal shelter ever since I was in 7th grade. My volunteer work gave me the passion I have to walk, watch, and take care of other people’s pets. I’ve watched numerous dogs ranging from extremely large to small breeds, which allowed me to be extremely comfortable handling dogs ranging in all shapes and sizes. Not only that, it allows me to be able to adapt to your fur babies' needs and take amazing care of them like they’re my own. Currently, I’ve built up a wonderful clientele in my hometown and hoping to expand to NYC. I mainly specialize in dog walking, but have watched numerous cats and am very comfortable with my abilities!! Right now, I’m a part-time college student, so I have plenty of time to be able to cater and give tons of attention to your fur babies' needs. No matter who the pet is, I always will love and care for your pet like they’re my own. I want to create a safe place for both you and your pet. Your fur baby will get the love and exercise they deserve. I cannot wait to meet you and your fur baby!!
Reviews
Maddy was excellent! I booked her as a walker when I was in a pickle last minute, she is very kind and quick to respond. She also makes the extra effort to make sure your fur baby is taken care of, the way I, as an owner would want. Definitely would recommend!

I am able to provide your fur baby a loving and safe environment where they will feel comfortable and safe to nap, play, eat, drink water, etc. I am able to take them on very long walks that will tire them out.
Information Maddy A. would like to know about your pet
Before watching a dog, it is important to gather information about the dog's behavior and any potential triggers or concerns that may arise. This includes knowing the dog's temperament, energy level, and exercise requirements. Understanding a dog's basic needs, such as feeding, grooming, and veterinary care, is also essential. Additionally, it is important to know if the dog has any special needs, such as medical conditions or specific dietary restrictions. Knowing this information ahead of time can help ensure the safety and well-being of both the dog and the person watching them.
A typical day
There a multiple fun activities that can be done with dogs. That includes going on walks, runs, playing fetch, tug-of-war, and engaging in interactive games such as hide-and-seek. Some dogs also enjoy swimming or participating in agility courses. The specific activities will depend on the dog's energy level, interests, and physical capabilities. It is important to ensure the activities are safe and appropriate for the individual dog, and to always supervise them during playtime. When taking dogs on walks, my go to place for them to burn some energy is the park, or a fenced in field.
