Pet care experience
I have been petsitting for about thirteen years now, for neighbors, family friends, and strangers. As of right now, I’m looking for short-term jobs where I drop in to visit your pet during the day or take them for walks! This works best with my school and work schedule at the moment. I will be a senior at Grand Valley this fall and I am pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Business and Marketing. Any extra cash I make here goes towards gas money. I have a dog and a cat of my own, and also have experience with rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, aquatic creatures and some reptiles. I have experience with watching multiple animals at a time, the maximum being four. Overall I have always had a positive experience with animals and would love to watch your pets.

Maddie is our go-to girl! She is trustworthy, kind, and dependable. She keeps you updated on things, and leaves your house in tip-top condition! I truly won’t use anyone else...she is simply stellar with our pets and house.
Maddie is WONDERFUL with both cats and dogs. She has been taking care of our two cats and one dog for years. Our pets are not the easiest! One of our cats and our dog both need medication and Maddie has no problem administering it to them. Our dog also has severe aggressive anxiety (he can be a 30 pound terror!) but Maddie gained his trust and he now loves her! I trust her to stay at our house and have complete peace of mind that everything will be just as good, if not better, than I left it when we come home.
Maddie has watched my dog many times and is such a great person to work with! She is so amazing and I highly recommend her!

A typical day
I think its important to stimulate your pet both physically and mentally. We can play a multitude of games, use different toys, and check out all the best smelling spots in the neighborhood. Also if your pet likes kongs or treat puzzles, that is how I like to end sessions.

Availability
At the moment I work two part-time jobs and I am finishing up two summer classes through GVSU. My two days off a week are Tuesdays & Wednesdays so I can dedicate plenty of time to your pet.
