Pet care experience
*Able to sit in Boulder or Denver* I have over 25 years of experience with dog and cat sitting for friends, family, and clients alike - including years of taking care of my own family's pets. Some of the dog breeds I have cared for include: -labrador retriever -golden retriever -jack russell terrier -cavalier king charles spaniel -cocker spaniel -Italian greyhound -French bulldog I am confident transporting dogs to the vet if needed, taking them on walks/runs/hikes, or to their favorite spots to play! I am considerate, clean, and organized. I am extremely responsible and would only treat both your property and your pets with the utmost care and concern--more so, I would treat them like my own! I am enthusiastic, kind, and dependable, and I guarantee your loved pets will be well cared for. Did I mention how much I Love pets?! I petsit because I don't yet have a pup of my own, and I love to care for others' four-legged best friends!

Maddie was great, made sure to come over and meet the dogs before we left and was thorough in checking out all our requests. She sent us great pictures of her stay, and the dogs were happy when we returned :)
Maddie was fabulous. Never an easy thing to tackle a request to stay 11 days at a stranger's home caring for a petulant pup and two cats. Maddie stepped right in and made us feel comfortable that our fur babies were being well cared for. She reached out when she had any questions with their behavior, and was great at keeping in contact with us to make sure we knew all was covered on the home front. Would definitely reach out to her again.
I am not afraid to say that I'm a pretty over protective dog mom & I felt 110% at ease while Maddie stayed in our home with our boys over the weekend. She went above and beyond, walkied our dogs and left the house clean and welcoming when we returned. Gone are the days where I'm anxious about going out of town and leaving our boys! definitely recommend Maddie and looking forward to rebooking her in the future!
Maddie is an awesome person and a took great care of my pup and my place! She made traveling away from my buddy so much easier! I will definitely be asking for her help again in the future as my dog seems to have taken a liking to her! Thanks so much Maddie!!

I have had some poor experiences through Rover sitting where dogs aren't very well trained, or aren't very social - with people or other dogs. If your dog has a tendency to nip at other dogs, unfortunately I'm not the right fit. Of course, if you don't need me to take your pup to the park or on extensive walks, this is not a problem. I am happiest staying with doggies who are friendly to other dogs and their owners.
A typical day
I love to go on runs and walks, if your dog is dog and people-friendly. Happy to play and toss the ball or frisbee; be outside and have fun together!
