Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of many different animals my entire life (Cats, dogs, birds, reptiles.) I have never had less than two dogs in my house at one time, right now I have a 10yo Shepard & a 4yo mini golden doodle. I understand how hard it can be to care for a pet 24/7 while taking on the challenges of everyday life. Parents need a break too! There is nothing I love more than bonding & taking care of our furry friends . :) I am also looking into entering school to study veterinary medicine. But for now I am a bather at Taunton petco so when I am not visiting to play you can always bring your pup for a relaxing spa day! Either way I can’t wait to see you :)

I like to spend as much quality time with my animals so I am able to learn more about their personalities, I like to keep track of games or toys they enjoy so I’ll know what to do for playtime to tire them out before it’s time to go to sleep for the night. I always keep track of feedings and brushing along with any medication they need. Also love going on walks around the neighborhood, exercise is very important especially in bigger animals that are prone to hip issues

A typical day
I love to keep my pets stimulated both physically and mentally. Exploring new smells around the neighborhood or even a park, and lots of games! Keeping your pets mentally stimulated can lower aggression, stress, & even correct destructive behaviors. Regular physical stimulation keeps older dogs sharp by helping to fight off symptoms of dementia, anxiety, and depression.

Availability
Due to me working full time, I am unavailable to drop in Thursday-Monday 10am-7pm & Saturdays 9am-6pm. But anytime reasonably before or after said times will be accepted! Everyday I feed (+handle meds), play with, walk, and brush my dogs. I am also looking to welcome a new lizard into my family:) And I always keep a close eye on all my animals behavior in case they get sick or hurt I will notice. Being able to identify when something is wrong with a pet is the most important part of this responsibility & I make sure to never cut corners when it comes to safety for both me & the animal.
